Synopsis
The Jackal is a tough assassin who makes his living by pulling off the highest-paying hits. He soon meets his match in the form of a tenacious British intelligence officer who follows him on an exciting cat-and-mouse chase across Europe.
The Jackal is seen driving a white Alfa Romeo Spider
In The Day of the Jackal (1973), The Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an earlier model. Quoted in Graham Norton and guests: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024).
It’s an updated version of the classic story
The Day of the Jackal is as good as it gets. The series follows an elite marksman (Eddie Redmayne) who goes by the nickname The Jackal.
He’s a highly trained assassin who’s also a master of disguise
He offered the job so much that he could retire, but the job is risky, especially since a ruthless British intelligence officer named Bianca (Lashana Lynch) is on his trail. He chases her across Europe as he tries to complete his mission.
There will be many casualties along the way as these two clash with each other
Their personal lives begin to collide with their work as they begin to realize that other forces are pulling the strings. Although some parts are stretched to get 10 episodes, the show has plenty of action and drama to keep you entertained throughout the series.
